Born and raised in Prince George's County (Cheverly, Maryland), Chris provides VineCorps' vision, direction and development. A graduate of Loyola University Maryland (English and Philosophy), he spent his next two years as a service corps member living and serving youth and their families in South Central Los Angeles and the Central City of Milwaukee. Still seeking to heed a social justice faith journey, he now brings to VineCorps two decades' experience as a youth development nonprofit professional, most notably 10 years as director of the Good Shepherd Teen Learning Center in Washington, D.C. Chris moved back home to Cheverly with his wife, Maureen, to raise their three children, where he is an avid youth soccer coach. He is also a former teacher and martial arts instructor.
